Custom Vinyl Banners are the perfect way to announce your upcoming sports, school, or fundraising events. Announce the big game, homecoming dance, school fundraiser, bingo party, church supper, neighborhood picnic, or any future event. Or, use a banner to announce a birthday, new baby, sports team achievement, or to cheer the team on before the game.
If you have decided you need a banner, there are a few choices you will need to make.
Choose a Banner Type
Custom vinyl banners are available in 3 different types:
- Super Tough Outdoor
The most popular is the Indoor/Outdoor Banner which is a heavy weight 10 ounce vinyl, weather resistant, printed in bright ink colors, and with metal grommets for hanging. It’s meant more for inside or short term hanging outside.
If you want a heavier weight for outdoors, you should go with a Super Tough Outdoor Banner. It is made of 13 ounce vinyl with a matte finish, printed with UV-resistant inks, and nickel-plated grommets. You could hang this one outside for a longer period of time.
The Stick-It Banner is strictly for inside. It is a 10 ounce vinyl with a low-tack self-adhesive backing. It will stick windows, walls, doors, or any flat surface, and can be removed easily without harming the surface. It is meant to be temporary.
After you decide what type of banner you want, you need to choose the size. There are 7 size choices, from 1 1/2 feet wide to 16 3/4 feet wide! See the chart below:
Horizontal or Vertical?
You can also choose banners printed horizontal or vertical. Most banners are horizontal, but depending on where you have available to hang it, you may need it be vertical. Both are available, so this is another decision you’ll have to make.
Personalize Your Banner
There are many background design choices, including all types of sports, or you can design your own. You can personalize your banner with your text and images. The choices are practically limitless! I love the banner below using personal football game photos.
How to Hang Your Banner
You can hang these banners inside or outside. Hang between porch post, use a banner stand, or any method you have available. A few ideas are below:
