Need Ideas for June Fundraisers?

It’s summertime and a great time for a fundraiser! If you’re looking for something different for your June fundraiser, we suggest using one (or more) of this month’s national days to promote a fundraiser. Every day in June has at least one national day, and usually more than one for each day. Some feature a food or a drink and others a certain event, person, animal, or cartoon character. For national days that feature food, you could have a bake sale or supper fundraiser. For drinks, a stand to sell that specific drink (for example: lemonade stand). Let the subject of each national day give you ideas for a fundraiser. This will assure that your fundraiser is different! If it is a National Day, everyone will want to celebrate it! This gives you a great opportunity for sales.

National Food days are the easiest to incorporate into a fundraiser. In June, a few food and drink days are: Cheese, Chocolate Ice Cream, Iced Tea, Strawberry Shortcake, and Eat Your Veggies.
